Flowers
The flowers in the wedding were all artificial. Some are made from the nice acrylic or latex coated flowers, and some are simply fabric flowers. The flowers will be used to make bouquets, boutinnieres, ceremony decorations, and reception centerpeices.
Bouquets
My original plan was cascading monofloral bouquets.
In English, this means that I want them to be all one flower and to be cascading, or teardrop shaped. I originally made my bouquet from artificial cymbidium orchids that I found at Michaels.

To make this bouquet, I used 4 branches of orchids, 24 guage wire, and floral tape.. I wired 2 of the branches together first, and then cut the flowers off of the remaining 2 branches, lengthened them (this is a process of wrapping the flower in wire and then tape so that there's enough wire hanging off the bottom to wire it into something), and I wired them into the stems of the two intact branches. After wiring in all of the individual flowers, I taped the stem of the bouquet.
This bouquet was really tough to make, and in the end I decided against using it because the backside didn't look good.

My second bouquet includedTrue Touch hydrangeas and calla lillies. I found this idea because I was looking for a bouquet of blue flowers. The hydrangea seems to be the most popular blue flower. I found an inspiration bouquet with both flowers.
The bouquet stem was wrapped with light and royal blue with a cross twist pattern accented with pearl tipped pins.

Here is my toss bouquet. This bouquet mirrors the one for the ceremony, but with cheaper artificial floweres (the cala lillies are from the Dollar Tree) and few flowers.
Bridesmaid bouquets
My original choice had been cala lilles. I decided to stick with white latex cala lillies from Hobby Lobby for the bridesmaides bouquets. I found a tutorial online to make the cascading cala lilly boquet that I always wanted!
Here is the link to the instructional video for a cascading cala lilly bouquet.
Here is a semi-finished product from latex calla lillies from Hobby Lobby. I haven't yet cut down the stems. Even though I'm happy with how the cascade turned out, the vdeo definitely made it appear easier than it was. It was definitely easier to put together than cascading orchids
Here's all four bridesmaid's bouquets.

Boutinnieres
I made the boutonnieres from TrueTouch hydrangeas. I decided to go with simple, monoflorol bunchs for both the boutonnieres and corsages.
